Call for Presenters for Illinois New Teacher Collaborative 2009 Conference
Moving Toward High Quality Induction and Mentoring
4th Annual Winter Conference
February 24-25, 2009
Hilton - Springfield, Illinois
We invite you to present what you are learning from your experiences to other conference
attendees by sharing challenges and promising practices from your program. Sessions should be
45 to 50 minutes and should address one of the following conference categories:
1. Mentor recruitment, selection, ongoing professional development and
support for mentors.
2. Supporting the development of beginning teacher practice
3. Collaborative leadership for mentoring and induction.
4. Program Assessment and Research - Ongoing assessment of program
effectiveness
The deadline for presentation proposals is November 15, 2008. Proposals will
be accepted through the online form ONLY. Presenters will be notified of
their selection no later than early January, 2009.
